Let's see those running boards

Hey all,
I am looking at jazzing up my running boards on my '50 F3. I found a website that sells solid polished stainless steel strips in whatever length you want. They also have a few different styles, but they run $25 a foot for 3/4" wide strips. Really nice looking but too steep for me. let's see what else you all came up with. I was even thinking about ripping down some 1" wood strips to attach to the tops of the ribs that would match the bed wood.

Thanks in advance...
Randy

I'm looking at the Westin Thrashers, https://www.westinautomotive.com/pro...running-boards, but the selector for your model only goes to 2018 ( 2019 F 350 cc XLT ) Does anyone know if the 2018 and 2019 superdutys are the same dimensions?

I was thinking about trying the 3M clear bra material they use on the fronts of high end cars. I'm not sure how durable it would be on running boards.

Any grit on your shoes would likely get embedded and look like crap in no time..

56Panel I tend to agree with you but I would think it would be cheaper to replace that film than it would to repaint the boards. It has to be more durable than unprotected clear coat.
