It is indeed a 1971 F700. 361 2V.
194= the wheelbase.
F703=F700 gas 24000# GVW.
4A8=standard cab w/o butterfly hood.
55=1 speed rear axle.7.17 ratio. 17,500#. Rockwell model H170.
4=7000# front axle w/o power steering.
24000=the GVW.
182=horsepower.
3800=H.P at this RPM.
162376=tells me this was special built for original buyer.

I will have to look up the serial number on the rear axle because it is a two speed rear that's in it right now. its got a 6 bolt center axle set up, which I've never seen before. for a Ford medium duty, I've always seen an 8 bolt Center axle setup

Thank you JEFFFAFFA and NUMBER DUMMY, I really appreciate it. If I find the id numbers for the rear could you find out what it is? Where the axle shafts bolt on each end, there's 6 studs that hold the axle on versus the 8 stud axle I normally see used on fords

But I can tell you looking at my fische pics, on the Rockwell 2 speeds the pinion gear is mounted high in the carrier housing. Notice on Bill's pic of the Eaton 2 speed the pinion gear is mounted low in the carrier housing like normal rear axles. Hope this helps.
