Hey guys, need some help on good adjustment. First It was sitting to high in the back. I adjusted the hinges to pivot back until the back was perfect, now the front is sticking up. No matter how much I tinker with it, it still looks off. Will post pics.
The hood hinges can be adjusted forward and back and up and down. If the hood is aligned to the cowl, the front of the hinges need to tilt forward without significantly altering the back.
A little angle near the pivot point (the hinge) is magnified at the front of the hood.
The hood on our 75 leans to the front. I adjusted the latch UP. The hood sits level.
However, it bounces. I bought a 2nd set of bumpers that will be fastened to the
existing bumpers on the bottom edge on each side to shim it up.
I'm open to better ideas for a tight / level hood.
