does any one know if a f150 1987 302 4x4 have a plug somewhere to check the codes cant seem to find one,not sure if this has one or not thanks mike

your truck will have an EEC-IV plug under the hood near the driver side hood hinge. it should be under a cover tagged diagnostic port.

Subford has a better photo. Your truck does not have a fender mounted TFI module as displayed above.

The EEC test connector would be on the inter fender drivers side.
