Using a DVOM on my cruise control servo plug I determined I need a new set acceleration button. Too much resistance between pins #5 and 6 with set-accel pressed. I think you have to get the whole setup (on/off and resume/set-accel/coast) to replace any of the above. I am however having trouble finding the part. I *think* it may be part number F2UA-9D780-BB but I'm not sure. Can anyone verify this? I'm driving from Dalhart, TX to Houston, TX tomorrow (10 hours minimum) so if I could locate the part somewhere between here and there that would be awesome.

Yes but nobody has any. I've not tried crossing the Motorcraft # back to a Ford #. Outwardly they "look" the same as the SW5879 but the wires are probably a bit different, not that it may not work for the SW 5878. Maybe someone else can answer that one.
Thanks for your help. I may end up having to call Ford to track one down. Hopefully somebody will have one somewhere not too far out of my way. With 20 hours driving and no cruise control I can feel at least one speeding ticket coming on.
