Hello all,
Hoping someone can tell me what's the best oil or what I should be using on my 1975 ford f150 a/t 2wd v8 360. It has over 500,000 miles I know the motor was rebuilt at least 15 years ago so it probably has a lot less miles on the rebuilt. Any suggestion.
What ever type the guy that put 500,000 on it for sure...LOL. I'd just continue to run that was ever way used after the rebuild. Swapping oils can be a hard on the engine.
Some cause build up and some others break up that build up better and then clog up other things. If you are going to change, run a cleaner and do a few less than 3000 mile changes to get all the old out and new in.
Some folks run oil in older rigs with high miles, good call.
