1985 F150 Automatic Help

Hi everyone, This is my first post here. I just bought a 1985 F150 with a Holley 4 Barrel and a Offey intake. Ran like crap until I did a Duraspark 2 conversion with the help of this site. I have a few problems I need to work out and need some help. The Holly looks like it is mounted sideways. The kickdown linkage is disconnected and laying on the valve cover. The Trans Code is a "K" which I think is a C6. How do I get the kickdown bar to link up to the Holley. I will try to attach a picture. Thanks

I would get something like this and get rid of the lever.

On a 300, the carb has to be mounted "sideways".
The kickdown lever can be tricky, when going to the 4 bbl setup.

C6 pan sorta shaped like Utah, has 17 trans pan bolts.

Will I be doing the Trans any harm if I leave it disconnected for now? I would love to get a picture of how someone else rigged their kickdown with the same setup.

As long as it's not activated, it will not hurt leaving it disconnected. If it accidentally gets pushed it can make the tranny shift weird.
