Sometimes my 2000 f150 seems to start too fast? It fires it seems before I even have time to release the key. It's typically on a hot start. It just seems weird and seems to have started doing it in its older life. 225k. New fuel pump, new cops, clean throttle body, new iac valve, etc, etc, ready to go another 225k

First it's not really a trouble.
It's just that the fuel pressure is right there quickly after the key is turned to run before cranking.
The ignition is ready to go.
The motor is loose from wear but still with good compression.
Don't complain, most other owners don't have this sort of fast response.
Good luck.
