brake controller
I am on my 2nd controller same brand same model factory stock. Same problem as last 2. If I plug in the controller I lose dash and running lights immediately. I cannot find a short in the wires going back or under the dash. Funny part is I cannot see how the 2 systems are linked together either.
If any one can throw me a bone on this one I am about to just rewire with a newer style Controller making it digital for style. I just do not want to ignore the problem as it will show up again somewhere else that does not link either.
Again only shorts out dash and running lights, brakes work at about 50% and no codes get thrown. It is awkward as I cannot tow at night and I have to carry a dozen 10 amp fuses.
