3rd row seat compatibility

I would like to know if anyone can give me a list of other vehicles that I could look at that would have a 3rd row seat that will fit my 2000 ford excursion?

I see this is your first post here, please don't let the one above turn you away. But really, I don't know how anything is going to just pop in other than one from the list above.

Did you get your ex sans a 3rd row, or are you trying to do some kind of mod? They come up on ebay occasionally, but are rarely cheap. You might get some luck on craigslist, but also take a look in the FREE section in the front of the forum. You never know what someone might be willing to let go.

Welcome to the best forum on the net.

Expedition and navigator from approximately the same years will work as well.

I've heard the same thing, if you try one from an expedition let us know.

Using the factory brackets or modified brackets?

Supposed to be a direct swap from Expedition/navigator to the Ex with no mods needed. I have never tried it but have read about the cross-model compatibility on this forum.

If you finish your profile with your location that might help

(I know where a few are for cheap locally)

^^^^^ yup. He is from Canada. If somebody wants mine, I'd gladly give the darn thing away. Mine has been sitting in the basement since 2005. Mint condition. Tan in color.

actually no the 2003+ wont work as the system is different and if I could find another excursion for parts in my area I wouldn't ask the question.

Do you know where to get a definite answer on this I've been told the 1997-2000 expedition or navigator?

search (albeit google) is your friend..

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...-row-seat.html

1997-2002 Expedition 3rd row seats fit Excursions too.
(Navigator same years likely too, unless Nav changed before Expy in '02)

There is a side-by-side picture as well as info on the Expy seat..
