Supposed to be a direct swap from Expedition/navigator to the Ex with no mods needed. I have never tried it but have read about the cross-model compatibility on this forum.
Can you get a unpowered 3rd row in a 2003 or later Expedition? My 97Expedition didnt have a 3rd row, but my 2003 Expedition had a power 3rd row, and know my 2003 Excursion 3rd row is completely different. Just wondering/asking.
I finally found an exact match one for my EX and it was on Ebay. It had to be shipped all the way from PA. I was happy with what it all cost to have it shipped right to my door. I got it in one week too!

The elusive gray! Congrats on finding one, the are fairly hard to come by in the gray fabric. I too have the gray interior. I love it.
