Acronyms for Newbies
Ok all you smarty pants, how about every acronym you can think of relating to Ford trucks and diesels?
Us newbie diesel owners get confused easily with WTS, GP, wtf?? LOL!

GP - Glow Plug(s)

LOL - Laugh out Loud
so theres the ones you requested
IDI - Indirect Injection
DI - Direct Injection
12valve - 87-97 5.9L Cummins
NA - Naturally Aspirated

CDR = Crankcase Depression Regulator (or just "Adapter" if you are talking to a Ford Dealer)
IP = Injector Pump
TC = Torque Converter
VR = Voltage Regulator
EGT = Exhaust Gas Temperature
GAWR = Gross Axle Weight Rating
OBD = On Board Diagnostics
TCS = Transmission Control Switch
VSS = Vehicle Speed Sensor
ZF, C6, E4OD = all different types of trannys. The first is a manual, the second is a 3 speed, and the third has an OD.
OD = Overdrive.
GV = Gearvendor
