Have seen them sold as a complete kit for 57-60. I like the clean look.
But if you don't have A/C those vent windows are nice to have.

Take a look at this. I like what he did with the fuel filler also.

I'm interested also, one day if I ever stray from stock. Problems I see are that a full window may not roll down as the door hinges are bolted on under the wing window, will electric window kits still work, and if I have no air conditioning then no way.

I'll probably just get the kit to re rubber the wing for now and save all that for much later.

This has been discussed here before but I couldn't find the thread. Perhaps another search.....anyway, Bobs F100 or somebody used to sell a kit that required a lot of modification of the inner hinge area. Some guys thought it really weakened the doors. Don't know if they still sell it. I found another thread where astronaut made his own kit. It might give you some ideas....https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...nt-delete.html

So far everything I am thinking about is just that "my planning". I had seen that 64 through google search and like it quite a bit. I really like the gas fill option as well, but Im a stepside guy so Im going to have to go a differnt route.

Im certain I can do it, just curious if anyone else had done it and had any pre cut and weld tips

Thanks for the replies guys, Now I want to do it even more than before! If it can be done I will get it done one way or the other.

I think for MY skill level I am pushing the limits on this build, but I am looking forward to seeing what I can do with it.

Im in the planning/ gathering parts stage right now. Im guessing I will be diving into the truck this winter.

Im not opposed to this situation either if it would help my quest, but I prefer the entire window area being glass.

Lambo is a bit over the top for my taste, but I honestly have been thinking about suicide doors. Will also solve my problem (or create a whole new set of them............
