A new Honda Ridgeline on the horizon

Looks like Honda lacks the capacity to retool and continue to produce a vehicle. Another truck like vehicle based on the same platform?

The last 2014 was built about two/three weeks ago.
The popularity of the new MDX and the soon to be redesigned Pilot has limited the production capacity for a vehicle that has not had any major retooling since 2005 (inception).

Calendar year US sales 2005 42,593[21] 2006 50,193 2007 42,795 2008 33,875 2009 16,464 2010 16,142 2011 9,759 2012 14,068 2013 17,723

That profile really looks like a Nissan. I wonder if Honda is going to go back to having someone else build their larger vehicles? Too bad Isuzu isn't really around anymore-

I was thinking the same thing. Honda would be smart to have Ford build them the world Ranger.

It is supposed to be built in the Lincoln, AL plant where it has been built alongside the MDX, Pilot and Odysee.

My neighbor has a 4x4 Ridgeline. His truck with well over 150K on the clock has never been repaired, just well maintained.

His only complaint is the horrible fuel mileage. 18-19 Hwy is his best yet.
