Drivers side vent

On my 74 F100 (no AC) It looks like the handle or lever on my driver side vent broke. It's getting warm now and would like it open. Is there a handle you can buy separately or do you have to buy the whole plastic frame and all?

You should be able to get in there and connect a stiff wire (coat hanger) the whats left of the handle to make a push pull rod??

The handle and slider are all one piece as I found out on mine since the handle was broke off when I bought the truck. As 77&79 said, you should be able to put a wire or screw through it to make a handle. I went ahead and got a different vent from a junkyard though. I didn't trust my own engineering
