I purchased this truck last year and it has 71k on it 2004 f350 v10 and I have done a bunch of upgrades since I have bought it. It is clean inside and out leather, sunroof, backup sensors, zero rust and is actually one of the nicest trucks for age I have seen. KBB says 26k retail, 22.5k trade in but nada says 20.5k retail and 18.5k trade. I know lift will hurt it for some and it would take right buyer.
I agree with what you guys are saying 14-16k. I just did the blue book it for laughs and the Harley trim added 10 grand over the Lariat. Crazy especially for a gas motor truck when you can get a 05-07 lariat crew cab diesel for that or a low mileage 7.3 crew cab. I guess if you want the Harley trim you gotta pay. If it were my truck and they would give me 22k in trade it'd be gone in a heartbeat.
I'm no longer a young man but even when I was, I steered far clear of rigs like this. Even though it may have been babied its entire life and never taken off-road - it's dressed for it and unless he knows you personally the buyer has no way of knowing that it is not some nicely patched together POS that has been beaten to death or not.. I would say no more than 20% off of the book value..
Now, if you put it all back to stock - I would say that your chances of getting book value or better are greater...
Hence - when I modify any vehicle - I keep all the stock stuff in storage and then put it all back as stock when I sell it..

Maybe not, but then again said buyer is a dipstick. Anyone who put forth the effort of anyone on here to shop for and know what he's looking at, will be able to tell a parking lot princess from an off roader right? Anyone who has actually driven off road knows exactly what it will look like. Having said that I wouldn't buy a lifted truck just because I like virgins. Just like my home remodeling projects at work, I always hate coming in to find booby traps after the guy before me. I don't want another man's tools and hands where I'm supposed to be. haha
Its a pretty sharp truck and you won't have any issues selling.
