The lack of storage makes me think about ways to use the cubbies provided in the dash. I don't smoke so won't use the small one for that. They are slippery so I won't store my phone in there either.
I was wondering about the auto phone holders. Most use a suction cup, but if you could get one that would grip inside the small cubby and hold your phone so you can see it--that would be cool.
I use the small cubby below the 12V outlet for storing my USB sticks. It's to small for almost anything else. I do wish that one was deeper and wider. I could keep a little notebook and some pens or something there.
I keep a pack of gum in the one below the SYNC ports. if I smoked, that's a good spot for cigs.
I often lay my phone in front of the radio display. It's been very secure there. Sometimes I put it into a cupholder too.
Put it away. Shouldn't be using your phone when your driving anyway. Just kidding. I just stick mine in the center console storage and do everything via Sync.
