Fail-fail-fail, they just bolted the block to the springs and used the head and bolt tail as a spring pad pin.

Cut the bolt that holds it to the spring pack (all 2). Put in an Add-a leaf for 1 to 1 1/2 " worth of lift.... or rebuild your front packs all together.

Ditch the blocks, please BAD idea, unsafe, un-stable, truck wreck waiting to happen.

truck is getting parted, springs are getting scrapped. I just thought it was wierd that I couldn't get the blocks off. I figure I'll keep the blocks. I'll post a pic of the rear springs tomorrow. Looks like a homemade conglomoration, broken and rusted leaves everywhere. :P

I got mine years ago from JC Whitney for the front of my all stock 77.5 F250. I am very happy and it gave the 33x12.50x16.5's a little more front fender room. Only 1.5 worth of lift, but that is all I wanted.

Do you have 6 pk or 2 pk front leafs? There will be a length difference in applications, I do believe.

No one makes a Highboy specific front Add-A-Leaf but some of the generic AAL's can work, or you can pick up a Highboy spring pack from the junkyard and build a "******* pack" to achieve your desired lift.

Just thought I would mention it, cause you will probably need a longer center pin. And your spring clamps might not be in the same position.

Also I would order a new u bolt kit...those old dirty rusty road grime packed fine thread u-bolts are usually are a bear to take off.

Also a great time to do a u-bolt flip...https://www.wfoconcepts.com/cr/U-Bolt-Kits/3208/3612

WOW welcome back around MTHB, did you get just paroled or did the jailers get tired of your sense of humor and release you or what? lol JK welcome back. Missed you buddy
