no top end power
Whenever i accelerate the pedal seems to hit the floor before i get all the power i should and my truck only gets up to 65 mph with the pedal floored. I notice that there is good bit of play between the pedal and the cable and was wondering if there was a way to take some slack out of the cable. It could just be that the cable is stretched and needs to be replaced also. I would appreciate anyones thought on this and if it helps, my truck is an 85 f150 with a carbed 302 and is auto.
