not bad here today-mid 90's...was hot yesterday, 106 was the highest I saw. Took the dogs a while to cool down after I let them in after work at 5:30-rough life...they have plenty of water and shade in back yard

Around 100 here today. My swamp cooler is barely keeping up. It usually keeps my house around 78-80 on these 100+ days. I'm sitting at 84 right now. Could be worse I suppose...

I just went and checked my cooler. No water in it. That may be part of my problem. I'm on a spring with 3 other houses so the pressure will fluctuate throughout the day. No pump on my swamp cooler so water just flows through and I have to get the valve just right so it keeps the cooler full without overflowing . Otherwise its like this in my house , minus the smiles...

Sounds like a hassle to keep your house cool. I just turn mine on and let it cool my house.

Lucky you. I would take high 70's over low 100's any day. LOL.

Jim, you're moving to the sierras?!! hell, wait for me!!
good evening fellas. i just ordered my first set of gauges for the truck. i ordered two auberins… one for EGTs and fuel pressure. i'll start with those and go from there. i'm really stoked to have a case of PMS right now… hoping it sticks around awhile. i'll let you know for sure when the parts come in and when i tear into the engine… i really would like to post pictures but i still don't know how after reading over the help and tips section over and over and over again.. so… bear with me! i chose the auberins over the Aframe Pillar style b/c i don't need the sketch-bombs and thieves in my area noticing, "oh, that guy has money invested under the hood 'cause he's got fancy gauges near his window"
i'm thinking with the box style, digital readout, i can 'hide' them a bit better…
next purchase?… some sort of OBD set or scan tool with code reading abilities… i thought about getting a cheap ScanGauge too.. just to have in the interim…

sorry for a length post. i thought i'd share my plans with chapter buddies before i announce it to the world in some other thread!

take care guys. i'll keep you posted!

Sounds good. I think I'm gonna order a set of glowshifts here soon... My pms has been bad this week.

Drove all the way down to sac and back today. About 10 hours round trip. I picked my cousin up at the airport there and delivered her to our great aunt. She's from Texas and this is the first time she's been to California.

almost the weekend

horrible what happened in Stockton yesterday...not too far from my mothers house-kinda rattled her. Thoughts and prayers to the family of the hostage who was killed, terrible...taken hostage in front of her 12 year old daughter.
