1000 miles down, 3-4k to go, weak AC

I have 1000 miles of my summer trips over and done with. AC has all but quit, above mid 70's outside and it wont keep up. Its going in tomorrow for that. I hope its a quick/easy recharge or hose replacement. Oil change and fuel filters were done last week.

Odo is at 61k.

Anything else I should have looked at? Aside from wear-items (tires, brakes)? No rattles in hubs or anything but maybe i should check the 4x4 system to make sure it engages/no air leaks to the hubs.

Any known software updates? 2011, it had all updated software as of june 2011 and had a reflash for the transmission later that Fall.

Hum....I'm at 60k but wasn't expecting to need to do that yet. I though that was 150k?

The transmission fluid is every 150k. The transfer case fluid is supposed to be changed every 60k per the maintenance guide in the Supplement Owners Guide.

In addition in some cases Ford recommends changing the engine coolant at 60k miles as well. (i.e. frequent/extended idling (over 10 minutes per hour) - pg 82, Frequent low speed operation, consistent heavy traffic less than 25mph - pg83, towing a trailer or using a camper or car top carrier - pg86

Do you have a shiny spot on the frame in the passenger wheel well? Could have a Freon leak.

Nope. This is from the 2013 diesel supplement. It's only every 60K if you fall under one of the severe operating conditions which most of us don't.

I always go by the severe service, but I suppose you have to decide what category you fall into.

BTW... I don't go by the OLM either or the fuel filter change reminder.
