Are system flushes necessary with regular maintenance?

Are system flushes necessary with regular maintenance?
Is having the fluid systems professionally flushed critical if you are doing regular fluid and filter changes? I would rather keep the $399.00 for these 90-100k check-up flushes for the F 350 in my pocket.

It depends what they want to flush. Coolant, brake fluid, Transmission, AC, any pressurized system sure. If they want to flush your diff's or transfer case or the air in your tires, I'd pass.

These are the items to flush as there is no easy way to completely change these fluids without flushing with a machine.
1) Transmission (at recommended fluid change interval in manual)
2) Radiator (at recommended interval in manual)
3) Brakes (Every 2-3 years or when you replace brakes whichever occurs first).
The engine oil, diff, and transfer case can be changed by simply removing the drain plug.
