Goodmorning Nevada & FTE Freinds,

Welcome to July.

Happy birthday to all those with a birthday this month!
It's hard to beleive that it's the 7th month & already on the downhill slope of the year! Only 5 months left! Damn... this year is just flying by!
I hope everyone has a great month & enjoys the summer.

I've been feeling a little under the weather the past few days. I don't know what exactly is causing it, being out of my meds, allergies (never had before) or being a woman. I woke up this morning from a nauseating migraine/tension headache.

This month isn't the worst month of the year, but it does have some good & bad cherished memories in it for me. My parents birthdays are this month on the 4th & the 23rd. So, those days will be emotional for me, as they are every year. I'll probably go to one of "my thinking spots" to be by myself for most of the day like I have since 1985.

Wow...ok, I gotta stop - I've got things to do today! I'm getting emotional already just from writing about it. Boy... am I going to sleep good tonight! ( i hope) Maybe I should just say %$#@ it & go to the beach instead. Anyone want to come?

Have a great day.

Thanks Greg for starting this months thread.
I went back to bed after waking up with my headache so I could try to get rid of it. Didn't quite work, but at least it's not nearly as bad as it was.

Happy 1st of July. If my dad was still alive he would be 84 today.

I agree, this year is flying by. It is already half over.

Bruce, I will have to try that remedy. I was told bleach would also get rid of them, and I used it to get rid of a big weed next to my stairs, but I used half a gallon of the stuff. LOL. I put it in a spray bottle to spray the other weeds, but it did nothing but turn them white.

Yup. Every year seems to pass more quickly than the last. When you were a newborn, one year was 100% of your life. Now it is just a tiny fraction. Sorry Donna if you are suffering from headache. I have so many it's almost a normal condition, hate that.

I am planning to head for San Diego, via 395. He is building an electric car, so I am taking him my MIG welder, and hopefully I will be able to spend some time with him and help with the fabrication.

Good Morning Nevada.

Safe travels Bruce. Should be a beautiful drive through the eastern sierras. A friend that moved here after a divorce is from Mammoth Lakes. She told me in June she was going to house sit for her girlfriend in Mammoth this summer. That is a beautiful place to spend summers. I sure had fun hanging out up there throughout the years. Mammoth is only 90 miles from Hawthorne.

Hawthorne? I will be going down there sometime in the next few days to pick up a '51 Buick, and take it up to Oroville.

Not Hawthorne CA, Hawthorne NV located in western central Nevada. 135 miles south of Reno & 311 miles north of Las Vegas on Hwy 95.

Morning all.

I haven't been very active lately, I have been working a lot lately and actually got a job/partnership offer with a local mechanical firm that I decided to take. This will be a big change for me, next week will be my last week at my current job after about 4 years, crazy!
