Nevada's July BS Thread

TGIF! (literally)
What a long stressful week! Im glad it's over with. Too many long days of watching my granddaughter. Atleast I dont have to watch her again until Monday!

Brie still hasn't had her puppies yet & I can just imagine she's probably thinking...Get these !@$# babies outta me!
Hopefully soon!Have a Funfilled Friday & a great weekend

Well, no puppies yet! But one would think with my being up this early that Brie would be having them. Nope, the stupid cat again at 3:30!
I yelled to him, "Really Whiskey, Are you in labor? No! Your a male so go back to sleep & leave me alone - unless you want to become a female!!!" So, here I am wishing that I was a veterinarian or that I had the money to take him into the vet. LolOn a brighter note, a friend is getting married today immediately after church. We're all leaving church & heading to the pond where alot of us got baptized for the wedding. This day is going to be exciting!

Hopefully Brie will have her puppies today too!
Have a blessed day!
Seems my minion caught something from the Children's Museum and decided to share.
I hope I am on the rebound but who knows. OK, time to medicate and sleep some more.

Found this tonight & thought it was kind of interesting.
There were over 3,500 authorized wiretaps in the U.S. last year, mostly related to drug cases. One state, however, has far more wiretaps than any other based on its population.
That state is ... Nevada. Data from the Administrative Office of U.S. Courts shows that the state had 38.2 wiretaps per 500,000 residents. That's quite a bit considering Colorado came in second-place with 12.4!
The figure is probably so high because Nevada has a lot of visitors every year, but its resident population is small at under 3 million people. And it's not surprising that most of the Nevada wiretaps took place near Las Vegas in Clark County.
The government isn't the only one that could be listening in. Find out who else could be spying on your phone.
California and New York were the only other states with over 10 wiretaps per 500,000 residents. California also led the nation in total wiretaps because of its large population.
On the other end of the spectrum, Hawaii, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Vermont had no wiretap requests last year. So if you don't want the government listening in, it might be time to move.
The report highlights the trend away from land lines in this country. Almost all of the wiretaps took place on cellphones and other mobile gadgets.

Hey Donna, how many pups did you get? Hope they are all well.
Had a good few days with my son. He is converting an Acura Integra to all electric. He has designed it for his commute plus 50%. I took him my MIG welder because he is at a stage where there will be a lot of welding to do. He had some broken bolts so I showed him some of my extraction techniques. He had never seen it done so he was impressed. We got the motor mounts designed and patterns made. And he was very impressed with the progress we made. I will be going down there again when he can get some consecutive days free. Great trip.
My neighbor will probably die soon. He is in Scottsdale right now. His wife has been talking about where to go for him to die. He wants to go to his place down in Mexico, she wants to come back here to Tahoe. He has very advanced cancer. Very sad, he has been a good friend and neighbor. We really care for him and for his wife.
Bruce, I believe she had 6 pups but one didn't make it. Glad to hear you and your son made some good progress on his build. I am considering trying the " Run Your Car On Vapors | Fuel-Efficient-Vehicles.org" thing. Just to see if it works. Sorry to hear your neighbor is that far along. That is never easy to watch.
Edit: From her FB post, She lost all but 2.

Bruce, glad you had a great trip. Sorry to hear about with your friend. I sat with a friend until almost the end. He had cancer & it is hard to see someone go that way.
I hope he gets to go where he wants. I sure know I don't want to go in the hospital.
