I have 2005 f350 6.0 and i broke the clip on my vgt harness while i was swaping turbos im confused how to wire the harness up the directions arent very clear the wires from my old plug are blue and black and the new plugs wires are yellow and purple just wondering what wire goes to what or does it matter?
Thanks for the replies fast replies guys but im still a little confused what im wondering is which wire do i splice into for what wire because the plug thats currently on the truck has a black and a blue wire and the new plug that i got from bullet proof diesel has a yellow and a purple wire. So do I hook the purple to the blue and the yellow to the black or is it the opposite?

Since the connector only goes in one way make note of which color wire goes to which pin and make sure that color wire is spliced into the wire on the new connector that goes to the corresponding pin. And if you haven't cut the old connector off splice in one wire at a time.
Snip the old one off leaving a little bit of wire and hold it in your hand with the new one- both oriented the same. Match the wires on the left together and right together and you have the answer.
Sorry for posting the diagrams, wasn't paying attention to the connector, it's really much easier than that.
Okay now that i looked at the plug again i can see what you guys mean for some reason i thought it would go in more than one way. Now i understand. Thanks so much for the help!
