power point and cig lighter not working
don't know if i messed this up but on my 06 SD i changed the face of my cluster and after putting all back together i noticed today the cig lighter and power point are dead
both and both on sep fuse and they are good
is there a master fuse of them? or other ideas
i did have the whole dash panel out and unplugged but its back together
thanks

You just un-plugged the cluster and plugged it back in?
If that is the case both of those two circuits are on the
Battery Saver Relay. That is controlled by the cluster.
So have a look at the plugs that go into the cluster.
Make sure all the pins are seated and not bent.
Post back and let me know. I have the books here and
will do some digging if needed.

wow thats interesting
thanks for the tip, what happened in more detail is that i bought a harley cluster that had the chrome gauge face plate. i put that in my truck and noticed that about 1/2 of the dash lights in it didn't work, so took it back out and put my original in with the face off the new one.
now have all dash lights but lost the power point and cig lighter (have apple phone and they won't go all day with out charge)
ill pull dash apart again and check cluster pins thanks for the tip
may i ask are there other items on the power saver relay that would also not be working to help me diagnose the problem?
thanks
