Hey guys,
I have been battling a door panel rattle on both front doors on my '92 F-350 CC. I had both panels off about a year ago to replace window motors, but when I put them back on I bought retainers and thought they were right but the doors have been rattling ever since. I have had panels off about 5 times each now trying to fix it but to no avail. I'm to the point where I am ready to screw the whole thing in, but the interior is mint. Am I missing something?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Blaine
I replaced mine about two years ago, bought them at the local NAPA store. they have a book attached to the display stand that tells you which ones work with your model/style of truck. I also took one of the old ones in with me to double check. They have been snug ever since. I don't know if this will help you out, but it worked for me.
Thanks, I'll have to try that. I bought some online but they were too long and the part that attaches to door didn't fit right. I actually don't have any of the originals so I'm playing the guessing game.
