The fuel line that comes out of the top of my 58 tank is bent up and does not flow well so it maybe rusty and crusty inside. I think this may be part of my problem keeping it running at Highway speed. I have looked for a vendor that has a replacement but have not fould one. Does anyone know where I can find a new fuel line?
I am not sure if Carpenter or any of the other vendors have the line u need, Because I have so many projects I went and bought a flaring tool from Eastwood. It has dies and really works good. Perfect every time. U can use the older style flaring tool and buy an inexpensive bender and make it yourself. Keep the old line and use it as a guide. U can do a practice run on a small piece to get the hang of it.

All you need to do is go to a auto parts store and get a ready made fuel line long enough to copy that line. It is flaired on bought ends. Bend it to match the old line,a tubing bender would help. Then cut off to length. My problem was tube in tank was full of rust. I had to change it out. A little harder to do.
