Trailer light harness

I need help hooking up the trailer light harness. I got blinkers and tail lights but no brake lights? Does the tail and brake light wire need to be hooked up before the connector where the wire harness splits between the two tail lights?

Welcome to FTE!!!

The easiest way to do it if your truck didn't come equiped with a harness is to get the adapter that Ts inline with the original wiring. Do you have seperate turns and brake lights? Year?

Trailer light harness

I found the information on etrailer.com, I will need to purchase the converter because the brake and blinker on on separate wires. Thanks for the help.
