I've recently started looking for a new truck for my landscaping business, and I ran across a 2002 F-550. It's a Crew Cab 4x4 with a 6 speed manual, and a 7.3 diesel. XL trim. It has an 11' flatbed on it with 2' mesh sides, looks like a custom job. The truck seems to be in good shape, has 167k miles on it. The body is straight, and there is a small amount of surface rust starting on the inner rockers and underneath the cab, certainly nothing out of the ordinary for the NC mountains. Since this class of trucks is new to me, I was wondering what it might be worth? It's set up exactly like I would set a truck up, and it would work well for what I intend to use it for, so the next question I have is pertinent to the value. Any ideas? Also, I noticed that the wheels on the front have no provision to get to the locking hubs. Did the 550 trucks use drive flanges instead?

He's only asking 10.5K. That being said, I just found a 6.0 pickup that I'm looking at too.

Already been bulletproofed! And the price is right. I have a 7.3 pickup now, and I'm unconvinced that the 6.0 is as bad as everybody says it is.
