In a 15x7 inch wheel other than a smoothie there is usually less than 4in of backspacing.
That pushes the front wheels out to far IMO.
There isn't much offered in a 15x6 wheel.
Will 16 or 17 inch wheels clear brakes and suspensions on our trucks?
I can get Cragers in a 15x6 and 15x7 size that looks like it fits well.
I was really liking the TTD's in a 15 or 17, but am unsure if a 17x8 with 4.5 BS will fit our trucks. The 15x7 will stick out to far in front with only 3.75 inches of BS.
a 17x8 wheel with 4.5 inch back spacing has 3.5 inches of front spacing. a 15x7 wheel with 3.75 inches of bs has 3.25 inches of front spacing. 17x8 sticks out more by .25 inches.
3.5-3.25 inches of front spacing is just about right on our trucks. so youll probably be fine either way but think you should redo your math
