Low boost high EGTs

Here is the list of things that I did (that shouldn't freak CARB out) to make my stock truck that gave it peak performance while towing (aside from tuning):
Better transmission
4" exhaust and muffler (the boost response is quicker than with stock exhaust)
AIS intake
Plugged the red line to the wastegate (can be hooked back up for emission testing)
Hutch/harpoon mod
The 38R turbo will fly, but this is extreme - and you'd likely need a boost fooler to stretch its legs.
