Happy Ending
The free F150 I have been meandering on about for the last of my couple posts is finally done. We didn't fix the fuel gauge as the kid I was building it for didn't want to get a sending unit right now.
The truck after a couple long weeks of not knowing what I was doing is now road worthy and at the kids house. This kid has been my right hand guy at work for the last 4 years, and it does my soul some good to do a nice thing for him. After just over $250 worth of parts she is a solid running machine for his first vehicle. Thanks to those of you who helped me out on my small problems I've made his parents happy, and the lad is indefinitely excited for his first rig!

Thanks for the comments guys. Yea the best part was his parents were happy to see it too. I was worried what they would think as they had never come to my house to look at it, but were hearing all these stories from the young fella. Thanks again folks! Enjoy your day!
