I can't comment on the fit, I haven't installed it yet.
I'll let you know how it fits once I get it installed.
Well, I did a test fit today and not really happy with the results.
The pipe on the passenger side is real close to the crossmember under the cab mount. Clearance is only about ¼" and it doesn't run parallel to the frame. It takes a decided direction towards the drive shaft.
The driver's side pipe is close to the transmission crossmember and it too doesn't run parallel to the frame, only difference is, it heads towards the frame instead of the driveshaft.
All it would take is a couple of minor bends in the pipes to make everything fit well.
Stuff like this frustrates me, a simple fix that should have been incorporated into the design in the first place and it would be a great kit.
I'm going to stop by a local muffler shop in town and see if they can put the bends that I want in the pipes.
That would make me happy .
If you're running headers, all of this would be a non-issue.
Thanks for the picks. They are great. Let me know hew the tail pipes work out. One snag I will have is that I have dual tanks, which mean the left side tube need to cross over and come to the passenger side.
One thing I would also put in is flexible joints somewhere. My custom bent system cracked where the tail pipes exit the thrush mufflers. I think stress played a part in the cracking as well.
