I knew you were out there Bill. ;o) nice to have a stock part. I'd wrap those wires together until you can get the stock part. Nice to know they are still available ...
Came across instrument cluster that included alt. gauge and was not sure whether to run the circuit using a fused or single junction block? Not an authority on auto electrical circuits but did not feel comfortable w/ many amps running to the instruments and dash in event of a short in the alt. circuit so decided to go with the fused as opposed to single point. Purchased 50 amp fuse at local auto parts.
My '65 does not have that wiring configuration. I assume it was utilized based on some type of other configuration of the truck.....???
Where do the cables that are there originate and terminate?

Also can someone tell me what the junction box does exactly. Can it be bypassed?
Great, so I have purchased an Econoline speedometer/gauge cluster with the oil and alt gauges that I plan to install as part of my rebuild.
I'll replace the oil pressure sending unit to work with the oil pressure gauge rather than the light. H
How does the wiring for the alt meter run? I assume there is a wire that will run through the loops on the back of the alt gauge but where does the wire originate and terminate?
