Is this an OEM seam too ease installation ? or a really neat crack line ? Don't recall this on the F100 earlier this week. Going back out to drop pass side shock for compare.
Thanks
Well figures, I sold my 66 I beams and walls. Anyone have one of these laying around ? Driver side (radius arm) mounted sorry I goofed that up on the thread label.
Well getting the cracked one off has been real fun. Anyone have one of these in a milk crate they would part with for a few adult bevies and shipping?
I will hit the yard if need be, but even with pneumatic tools this is no fun getting one off. Being too lazy not pulling the shock, and separating outer tie rod-spindle just adds to the joy. A really easy way to remove that bracket is to:
1) Cut your original front springs to lower your truck
2) Leave your original shocks on the truck
3) Go for a drive! After bottoming out the shock a few times, it will break the rivets and rip the lower bracket off
