No I will get a screen kit if possible. The very least put the original back now that I blew air the hrough it. Never run it without ford/international put it there for a reason.

You take some spray cleaner like carb or MAP cleaner
and depress the pintle in the valve and flush out and
junk that may be in there. Let dry reinstall O-ring and
screen kit and stick it in the truck. As for flushing the line
you just crank the truck but don't try to start with the line
from the starter and let some of the oil in the pump out
onto the cover. Then clean it up. yes it messy but any crud
that may of been sitting ahead of the screen should wash out
when you give it a few cranks. Do that before you reinstall the IPR.

I guess I am not sure what you mean by from the line with the starter. Do i just tap the key a few times? Or jump a wire from the battery to the solenoid on the fender?(I assume there's a solenoid on the fender like my 7.3's)

You can also grab some T6 from Wally world and run a blend, say half and half. It's actually a better blend than if you bought a semi syn (they usually don't run that much syn in the blends). You'd end up with a 10W 40 and my truck (I do the same but with Delo) is actually quieter and I think starts a tad quicker.
I'll likely go full syn when I run out of the cases of delo 400 I have...

Well no change except it made about 50 ICP instead of next to none. Guess the next step is get the fitting and pressurize the high pressure oil system. Which is really what should have been done from the start but can't find the flipping fitting anywhere other than on line. Still puzzles me how it just shut off. I question if my original hard start when hot and no start when cold are even related.

I am assuming back around 80000 when they replaced the Stc fitting it is the updated one. Or at least when they have done the head gaskets they updated it. Do the new ones fail and if so would that cause the truck to shut down while under power like that. I suppose we will know more when I get the air fitting.
