Ouch! That's why an air shut down is on my list.

Sorry, I don't. If you go about 10 pages or so back in my thread below there are more detailed pics, and descriptions.

This is the main reason why I don't like having an FE in my dent. Takes up too much room and is so damn difficult to work on. Give me that six cylinder any day and I'm good to go!

Factory gauges include speed, OP, WT, fuel, amps. Beyond that I'd add volts (or replace amps) since you probably have or should or will upgrade the alternator beyond factory specs and wiring capability. A voltmeter works great to monitor system condition in that case.

Beyond that trans temp would be my choice as I tow. Next would be a tach, next engine oil temp.

Huge difference in room.

My bump:

Pulling the column out of my dent with that huge brake booster and the V8's valve cover and manifold being in the way really made things awkward.

Now, it's not that bad but it's not preferable.

This is what I did. Laser cut out of ABS. Fits speedo, tach, oil, water, volts, fuel. Just the basics.

All of you did very nice work. It was a joy to see the photos, although a part of me wishes I had not seen them, because now I want to replicate what I have seen.
