Ref. our 75 F-150 here in Wisconsin: I plan on ordering the repair inner
fender apron from NPD. However, I also need the bracket that bolts
to the cowl. My old eyes can not find it in the catalogs issued by NPD, LMC
or Dennis Carpenter. I struck out on all three web sights too.
Try these. They are cheap enough. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1973-1979-ford-truck-exhaust-and-fender-mount-brackets-1974-1975-1976-1977-1978-/291157427454?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43ca55c4fe&vxp=mtr
Those brackets are P/N D3TZ-1002294-A and D3TZ-1002295-A
There are a few NOS pieces still around but I would grab the ones that hickory linked to. They don't really go bad unless they rot out from rust or get crashed.
You aren't going to beat ten bucks plus shipping.
Just so you know, Dennis Carpenter has one each NOS. These are part of their obsolete parts inventory and are not listed in their catalog.
And if it's rusty pieces ya get, then try out this lo-buck way to dissolve rust: Electrolysis - Rust Removal
I've had a 30-gallon setup going on two years now and rescued lots of parts with relatively little effort. I put parts in and the next day or night they are done. A bit of scrubbing and they come out clean... it even softens paint. Planning ahead and patience are musts but the process is very thorough.
