Truck in sig. 21k miles. A/C decided to stop cooling a little while ago. First problem with the truck. A perfunctory glance under the hood and I find a solid line with a 90 degree rubber connector dangling out in back of the degas bottle on the driver's side. There is also an inline valve of some type sticking up under the degas bottle. Both look like they probably should be hooked to something that might have mounted on the mounting point(s) on the back of the degas bottle. (All visible in the picture).
What is on your truck, if anything, at this point? Going to take it in since it is warranty work, but curious if something has been missing from my truck since day one.
That's essentially what the service writer said when I showed it to him at the Ford dealer. It is a 4x2.
By the way, after my first post I drove the truck the 10 miles or so to the Ford dealer and the A/C blew ice cold air the whole way. Go figure. They're going to check it anyway as well as check the coolant additive (since that message popped up today).
