Door Pin Switch (Door Ajar)

Anyone know off the top of their head how the switch is set up? Is it closed with the door closed and open when the door is open? That seems logical, but sometimes things defy logic . . .

Mine's closed all the time now, in the garbage can with the lid closed, I did door lock actuators this weekend and got rid of the drivers side one
