I have a 2012 Ford F450 6.7lt Turbo diesel and it has 18600 klms on the dial and is due for its 20000 service,problem is i cant get the service light to go off,read the book it states it should turn off after 15 seconds of starting the motor is this normal or may i have a problem.

if you are talking about the engine service light (the yellow/orange light that looks like an engine) then it does not always turn off by itself. The manual implies that it will but I can tell you it will not. I just had my 2013 6.7D F350 serviced because the ESL was on and nothing I did (re: disconnect battery) helped. You need to leave the truck at the dealer. They will diagnose (1.5 hours including wait time) and fix the problem. Mine was a failed exhaust back pressure sensor. They had to order parts so I had to drop the truck off again for a repair that required several hours. Net-net, the ESL is off, the truck is running much better at low speeds and gentle acceleration. It was covered by FORD and they gave me a rental while they made the repair.

I just had the car diagnosed and the code P20BA came up which is the Reductant Heater A Control Performance,the code was cleared but driving home it came back on.
Ihave a 2012 Ford F 450 Turbo diesel and the vin number is VIN DELETED
