1986 F150 Header Recommendations

Any outstanding headers for a 2wd bullnose? Price range is $200-$500

I've got Hooker Headers on my '86 302 ('81 F150) and I have no complaints after 15 years with 'em!

I was so lucky as to get a set of hedman shortys from summit in scratch and dent for $50, I like them alot but they fit a 67-69 Falcon so fitment wasnt exactly easy especially with having a 4 speed manual. But none the less after getting creative with the exhaust routing and dipstick routing they fit great sound awesome and are high quality. From what ive seen and found out summit racing sells a set of long tube as well as shortys. The long tubes do not fit manual transmissions but the shorty's do and they re use the stock y pipe. I would recommend hedman headers to anyone honestly. Go with the cheap coating on them and when you get them scuff em up and spray some vht header paint on em to keep em from rusting
