My 85 f150 has grey interior. Ive ran into a deadend trying to find a dash pad. Dont want to just cover it. I want to replace and all my searches on this site and others bring me to blue, red, saddle, and black. No grey
Gray was not a color used thru the entire 80-86 period. As such, it is far less common than the others. There's just not as much market for gray, so it's not offered currently.
Not really. I think gray was only offered in 85/86. Just makes it harder to find pieces in the right color, since there's a much narrower window of time to dig thru.
Cool deal. Im just worried about the painted look. But this could also solve my flaky faded door panel problem. Trying to keep this truck as close to original looking as possible with a few hidden mods.
We used to have a member here, um, Girl With A Truck (I think), she repainted her truck interior with this stuff, one of her threads is in the Sticky/subforums (I think it began with filling in speaker holes using Bondo® or foam or some such but can't remember for certain, go nose through that stuff and do some homework on that).
EDIT: Found it, saved ya some work; go read these, too:
Wow I appreciate the help. This site rocks. When I start on all this ill be sure to do picture documentation of ever step even though it's probably been done a thousand times.

Just don't delete the pictures from the hosting service. People sometimes delete their pictures after a while, that makes the things they write up and illustrate here FAR less helpful...

We have a rule that a well-documented thread be at least 80 pages in length.

just finished painting my whale interior, Originally Red, now Camel (tan) with the SEM interior paint system. This stuff is fantastic! but you MUST follow the pre-directions.
I hope there's a color that will match my gray. I plan on pullin it all down and getting my color from a non exposed area. Got a lot to do before I get to gut the interior
