Installing new speakers, DSP and amp. I've got everything hooked up and when I turn the key on or off the power light comes on then goes off on the DSP. What am I missing here? What I have is a 2010 F150 with the Sony/Nav system. Added Audison speakers, JL stealthbox for the sub. Arc Audio SRI DSP/Summing device with a JL HD900/5. Using fuse #38 in the passenger compartment as the power source for the SRI.
This is my first install so I apologize if this question is ignorant(Hey I'm learning a lot but still very much an amateur). I was looking around and couldn't decide what I wanted. One of the shops had a sales rep w/ a 2011 f150. I listened to his system and decided that was what I wanted. The stereo shop was busy and said they would need the truck for maybe a week as the shop owner keep crying about how hard the factory amp was to get to. It seemed like he really didn't want to deal with the truck. That along with the fact that I was pulling out the interior to add sound deadening throughout I decided I would try the install myself. There's tons of great info here- read the ten commandments sticky a few times.
