I just installed a Alpine head unit, CDA 9884 in my F150 XLT with four Polk Audio DB 571's. The system sounds awesome but I think the speakers would sound a bit better with some more power. I have a limited budget and was considering this amp: Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. - KTP-445
It looks easy enough to install. What do you guys think? I know a higher grade amp would be better, but money is tight and I want to keep it simple.
I dont have a sub. The polk audio speakers sound really good now. More power should really make them thump. Help me make up my mind
how many watts is it pushing. If it is less than 450 or 500, your wasteing your time. My truck had a directed 2400 in it that is supposed to be pushing 540 amps hooked up to MTX 10" subs, and it isn't very loud at all
