I have a 77 F150 4X4 that im slowly rebuilding, 4 sp Manuel trans w/granny gear, 300 engine. So far ive replace the engine, clutch, rad and everything else under the hood, just got done doing a complete rear brake job on it, had the dash apart to put in a new T/S switch and rewired a bunch of stuff that others had butchered up. I plan on keeping this truck forever
The one i want to buy is a 77 f-250 short-bed regular cab. The engine is a running 351m with 4 speed. I have a new rebuild 400. Engine swap gonna be easy.
That looks very nice! I plan to keep mine mostly stock and as i use it off road that little 300 does a great job for me. I bought the truck when I lived in Co. So it has a bit of rust damage that I'm fixing up. I also have a 2000 dodge 4X4 that im getting rid of, the Ford is twice the truck that thing is!
I tried to load one of my dents onto my father in laws trailer and the truck was acouple inches too wide. The truck had 33x12.5's on it with 10" wheels no idea on backspacing but the truck was around 82" or so wide. Trailer was like 78" inside of fenders . I could have made it fit if I either ran over and crushed his fenders or made some kind of a ramp to get over them. Didn't figure he wanted crushed amd smashed trailer fenders though.

No such thing as a factory F250 short bed regular cab... something funny is going on there.
