No compressor.

I just recharged my system thinking that the reason why the compressor wouldnt kick in was because of low refridgerant. I jumped the compressor and the system still blows hot air. What can I check for now?? I think I may have a leak in my condensor. If I spin the clutch by hand I can hear a faint hiss coming from the front of the radiator. Say I did have leak and my system was completely empty, how much does an AC system hold and what will it take to at least get it to blow cool to see if it works or if there is another problem?

No compressor.

Seems I answered some of my questions and more have came up. If I'm doing my math right, my system holds 3.4 pounds of refridgerant which works out to 54 Ounces. So if I added 45 ounces or 2.8 pounds to an empty system would this cause the low pressure switch to not activate the compressor?

No compressor.

If all the freon leaked out then air has leaked in. leak check it. fix it. vacuum it down then fill it. should be good to go
