Need help with EGR #

I am installing the new intake manifold on my 460. Along with that, I am replacing the egr valve. The parts from autozone are not matching up with what I have on there now. I'm beginning to think the PO had mixed and matched certain items to keep the car on the road. The numbers on the egr are:

UC17050064
20171

Any advice would be helpful. I can get the correct egr, but they are saying that the egr carb plate is not available.

Is the intake a spreadbore pattern and what carb is on it?

EGR plate is spreadbore. Carb is a Holley. My egr valve does not look like yours. I'll have pic posted later

Those aren't Ford numbers but I searched to see if I could come up with something and came up with zip.
Yeah, see if you can post a picture.

1975 F250 460: There are two different EGR/Carb spacer plates. Both are obsolete, both are available NOS

CA resident: Was your truck sold new in CA? The DSO code on the Warranty Plate will be either 71 or 72 if it was.

I also need to know the last 6 digits of the VIN

D3OZ-9D475-D .. EGR Valve / Marked: D3OE-9D475-DA or D1A or D2A or D4OE-9D475-B1A or B2A / Obsolete ~ 8 available NOS

Misc applications: 1973 Torino/Montego/Mustang/Cougar/Maverick/Comet 302 A/T / 1973/74 F100/350 360/390 / 1975/76 F100/350 460.

Thanks for the replies. ND and Mike, here is some more info:

Last 6 VIN digits are W43886
EGR plate number is D5VE9A589 and the plate does have a Ford stamp on it.

so you have the EGR plate or not? There is also an inline Spark Delay Valve paired with the specific EGR valve that would be needed also .. Your distributor is set up to run with it ..

Previous post says I do. I am looking for the EGR valve. Since the numbers on the valve mean nothing and the EGR plate numbers that ND posted don't match up, I am assuming that this valve either came off a later model truck or possibly a car.

Previous post says
but they are saying that the egr carb plate is not available.
What's important is that the egr valve and the Spark Delay Valve match with the distributor or recurve the distributor ..

So the valve is supposed to be routed to the distributor? The valve in this truck was only connected to the vacuum tree closest to it.

If you want an answer post the year of your vehicle and type of vehicle were talking about and whether the motor is original to that vehicle .. and if the emissions sticker is still on the drivers side valve cover post that info

If the EGR valve is routed to the manifold vacuum tree, it won't work.
With it routed like that, the valve will be open whenever the engine is running.
Here's one example of how a 460 should be hooked up, this one is for a '78.

Again, thanks for your replies. I was able to search and found a post from HIO here:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...r-exactly.html

Based on my egr plate info, the plate and valve is from a 75 Lincoln. Part is installed. Now, I can continue with my intake install.
