Thumbs up 02 Tail Lights

I went on eBay for new pair of 02 Ford OEM Tail Lights and most of the listings were for 05-up, but some listed 95-up with the same part number? Anyway I ordered them from two different Dealers (one each) 5C2Z-13404-AACP (pass) and 5C2Z-13405-AACP (drivers) with Gaskets and Light Bulbs included for under $50.00 each with shipping. But the catch is 05-up has a different Wire Harness Connector for the Bulb Holders, so I just used the old Bulb Holders with the new Bulbs and Gaskets and the Lens itself is the same thing and fit perfect........Just a heads up!

Thanks for this heads up---it will undoubtedly prove helpful to someone I'm sure.

IIRC all the tail lights are pretty much the same from '92 forward---I've snagged a few nearly new looking parts from the scrap yard. While the harness connectors might change a bit as far as the wiring pattern goes swapping them with the vehicle's existing connectors and sockets is the way to go!

I read that twice and I'm still confused. Are you guys saying just use the old sockets in the new light assembly? They fit.... or are you splice/wiring the new ones into the old bulb harnesses? Sorry for the brain bulb dimness.

Thanks, VannerDude?
